Double Bass Drum Guitar Hero!?!?!?!?!?

When I see people who can play Guitar Hero at expert and get really good scores, it kind of irritates me. I, like so many other people feel that people should just buy guitars and learn to play. If you already know how to play, you are still at a disadvantage as it’s hardly like a real guitar because on the easy mode you play in a kind of “half” time. The rhythms are different and Even Krist Novoselic couldn’t play his own song.
I should pitch a game that’s just like GH, but you play a real keyboard, just a couple octaves, nothing fancy. If you spent the same time learning to actually play something as you did playing videogames, you could probably get pretty good. I am also pretty sure the technology exists to make a guitar into a midi controller but I’m not 100 percent positive which means you could probably even apply the concept to a guitar. Sure it would cost more, but it would be worth it.
Obviously I care about this subject to write 2 entire paragraphs about this but actually, there are new developments in this saga of intrigue and at the risk of sounding like a curmudgeonly old man, I feel I must share them with you my audience.
There is now a second bass drum attachment. Check out the video below, the guy playing the drums is practically playing the bass drum part verbatim at some points. I used to play the drums daily, I was pretty good. Double kick, never picked up the concept. I could do all kinds of high hat open and closes, but drum rolls and rudiments were something my feet were never capable of doing and I have always respected metal drummers for that reason.

Ha ha double bass. Sick! Now all they need is some heavy stuff like lamb of god to really test out the drums on guitar hero.
