Jucifer “The Mountain” video + tour dates

Jucifer is a 2 piece outfit consisting of a husband and wife. Baritone guitar and drums. They live in an RV and are completely nomadic. They play stoner/doom metal and I keep reading that there is some Portishead style downtempo going on but I’ve never heard any.

Jucifer’s latest release is entitled L’Autrichienne which is french for “The Austrian” and it’s a concept album about Marie Antoinette. I wonder if it was inspired by the Sophia Copala film?

Well ladies and gentlemen, I have decided to enter the podcasting world and present a show that showcases some of the bands Under The Dog writes about and hopefully some that I don’t have time to write about.

As I’ve stated before, UTD is expanding it’s music to more than heavy ass abrasive music and branching out into more stuff that I think continues on the tradition here at UTD. Since it’s not going to be all hardcore and metal, I’m gonna place the mellowest songs first, move into hip-hop and transition over to the most abrasive stuff at the end. Should be a fun time I reckon.
